Sustainability Statement

This show was directed by Bristol Barnes, who is a Green Captain on campus for College of Charleston’s chapter of the Broadway Green Alliance. BGA is an industry-wide initiative that educates, motivates, and inspires the entire theatre community and its patrons to implement environmentally friendlier practices on Broadway and beyond. Center Stage has partnered in the past with the BGA on their show Firebringer last April, and continues to implement sustainable practices through theatrical art. Bristol personally has always had a passion for sustainability and environmentalism, and she loves Hurricane Diane because of how central it has made discussing the fight against climate change. She hopes that with this show, she can inspire others to look for meaningful ways to make change through their art.
