PRODUCTION TEAM

- DIRECTOR -

Bea Lemaster*

Bea Lemaster is a junior at the College of Charleston majoring in Theatre with a concentration in Theatre Studies. They also have an interest in arts management and serve as the president of Center Stage. Firebringer is Bea’s directorial debut at the college. Bea also wants to send a special thank you to their grandmother for introducing them to theatre as a kid. They have loved every minute of the process, and hope you enjoy the show!

- MUSIC DIRECTORS -

Lilah Grace Elnaggar

Lilah Grace Elnaggar is a junior majoring in Marine Biology, with a double minor in Environmental Sustainability Studies and Music. She serves as co-Music Director alongside the incredibly talented Queen Hamilton for Firebringer, and is immensely grateful for the experience Center Stage has provided for her. Outside of learning/teaching music, her academic work on campus is centered around environmental sustainability and advocacy; she hopes to bring the STEM community closer to the Arts here at the College!

Queen Hamilton

Queen Hamilton II is a junior majoring in Music: Composition. She serves as co-Music Director alongside the spectacularly brilliant Lilah Grace Elnaggar for Firebringer. This is her first time working with Center Stage and her first time music directing. She couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunity to work with such a talented and hardworking cast and crew. 


- CHOREOGRAPHER -

Whitney Green

Whitney Green is so excited to have served as the Choreographer of this production. She is a junior majoring in Arts Management and minoring in Marketing and Psychology. Previous choreographic experience at College of Charleston includes Assistant Choreographer for Violet, Unbeatable: A Musical Theatre Showcase, “Weathered Rhythm” in Becoming We, and “Snow'' in Holiday Hijinks. Enjoy!


- ASSISTANT CHOREOGRAPHER -

Isabella Gardner

Isabella Gardner is a sophomore double majoring in Theatre (General) and Arts Management. This is her first time working as a choreographer or a puppeteer! Her participation on the technical side includes lighting designing Halle White’s piece “Not My Responsibility” for this semester’s dance concert, Becoming We, and, looking ahead, stage managing There’s Always Tomorrow by Sonya Hayden at Piccolo Spoleto. See you there!


- STAGE MANAGERS -

Aidan Wunderley

Aidan Wunderley is a sophomore theatre major with a concentration in performance. This is Aidan’s first time stage managing in college and she is incredibly proud of the work she has done for this show. Aidan’s other credits with Center Stage include the roles Brad in The Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadow Cast (2022) and themself (Jess) in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) [Revised].

Molly Crary

Molly Crary is a senior studying Theatre, with a concentration in Theatre Studies, and Creative Writing. They have previously worked with Center Stage as the stage manager for the 2021 shadow cast production of Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadow Cast, as co-stage manager for Proof (2023), and as a board operator for two other shows. They have also been involved with mainstage College of Charleston shows as assistant stage manager and dramaturg. Working on Firebringer has been a wonderful last college experience for them, and they hope to work with the amazing cast and crew in the future.

- SCENIC DESIGN -

Bristol Barnes

Bristol Barnes is a junior majoring in Theatre (Performance and Scenic Design). This is their second Scenic Design with Center Stage. Their previous scenic design work has been seen in Two Gentlemen of Verona (mainstage) and Swing of the Sea (Center Stage). Their previous directorial work has been seen in Center Stage’s production of Proof this past January.

- ASSISTANT SCENIC DESIGN -

Kelsey Beckett

Kelsey Beckett is a sophomore majoring in Theatre (Scenic Design) and minoring in arts management. This is her first time participating in a Center Stage show and getting involved in theater in Charleston. She is looking forward to getting involved more in the upcoming seasons and hopefully getting to show off her own design and work in the near future! 

- COSTUME DESIGN -

Stef Amezcua

Stef Amezcua is a junior majoring in costume design and arts management.  This is their first time costume designing for a show and working with center stage and is looking forward to being a part of more in the future. 


Mahdiyah Elijah-El

Mahdiyah Elijah-El is a freshman majoring in Commercial Real Estate Finance and minoring in Creative writing. This is their first time costume designing and their first time working with center stage. She’s looking forward to hopefully getting more involved with the club and auditioning for next year's productions. 


Lily Lombardi

Lily Lombardi is a junior majoring in Costume Design! Firebringer is the first production she is costume designing for, and the first center stage production she is involved in. She can't wait to see what other productions she will be a part of in the upcoming years!

- LIGHTING DESIGN -

Bootsie Baldwin*

Bootsie Baldwin is a sophomore majoring in Computing in the Arts with a concentration in Theatre and a minor in Mathematics from Charleston, SC. Bootsie is a Center Stage board member, but this is her first time designing a Center Stage show. Their work was last seen in the spring dance concert, Becoming We. She is very excited about this opportunity.

- SOUND DESIGN -

Chris Warzynski

Chris Warzynski is a Sophomore pursuing a major in Theatre with a double concentration in Performance and Scenic/Lighting, and also pursuing a minor in Japanese Studies. Chris was an associate lighting designer on Marcus: or the Secret of Sweet and lighting designed three dance pieces for the Shifting Perspectives dance concert as well being the Head Electrician for Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley.

Tippy Trombley

Tippy Trombley is a junior majoring in Theatre. This is her first time designing with Center Stage!

William Caretto

William Caretto is a senior majoring in Theatre with a minor in Japanese Studies. Firebringer is the first production he has done prop design for, and his first time working with Center Stage. He is looking forward to working together with Center Stage again next semester, and hopes he can hone his skills as a Fight Director in future productions!

Abby Scruggs is a Sophomore majoring in Theatre (Performance) and Political Science, with a minor in Music. She was last seen in the Main Stage production of Violet, and is excited to make her Center Stage debut! She would like to thank the Center Stage board for this opportunity and Buren Martin for giving her a love of theatre!

Jenna Bush - Zazzalil

Jenna Bush is a freshman majoring in Biology with a minor in Theatre. She was last involved in CofC’s dance concert, Becoming We. She is thrilled to be making her Center Stage debut and is eternally grateful to the wonderful production team behind Firebringer and her lovely cast of friends who have made her feel so welcome!

Chris Warzynski - Molag

Chris Warzynski is a sophomore Theatre major with a performance and lighting/scenic double concentration with a minor in Japanese Studies. He has performed with the Department of Theatre and Dance in Cabaret (Siegfried) and Violet (Leroy). He also Lighting Designed several pieces for the Shifting Perspectives dance concert. He would like to thank Bea Lemaster, and his Nana for not evicting him.

Mason Monti - Ducker

Mason Monti is a senior theater major with a concentration in performance. Firebringer is the first ever musical theater production he has been involved with. He was last seen as Thurio in the Main Stage production of Two Gentlemen of Verona. This is his eighth and final show at the college and he is so grateful to have learned so much and met so many wonderful people in his time here.

Madelein Hanson - Schwoopsie

Madelein Hanson is a sophomore majoring in Theatre (Theatre Studies) and French and Francophone studies. She was last seen in Two Gentlemen of Verona and is so excited to be in her first Center Stage show as an actor. She’d like to thank everyone for being supportive here at CofC.

Caroline Magee* - Keeri

Caroline Magee is a senior double-majoring in Theatre (Performance) and English (Creative Writing). This is her fourth time performing in a Center Stage production and her first & last musical in College! She was last seen as the director of Rocky Horror Picture Show (2022) for Center Stage and as Julia/Sebastian in Two Gentlemen of Verona for the Main Stage. She’s so grateful to get to dance around a flaming stick alongside such wonderful and talented people :)

Morgan Kelly - Emberly

Morgan Kelly is a sophomore majoring in English (Writing, Rhetoric, and Publication) with a minor in History. In the past, they’ve worked as the assistant stage manager (2021) and stage manager (2022) for Center Stage’s productions of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Morgan is absolutely thrilled to be in her first production with Center Stage, and she couldn’t be more grateful to have worked with and learned from this incredibly talented and kind cast and crew.

Sam Rhodes - Smelly-Balls

Sam Rhodes is a sophomore in Theatre Performance. He was previously glanced at in the main stage’s production of Violet as Billy Dean/Virgil and in Center Stage’s The Cake. He is glad to be with his friends throughout this process for which he is forever grateful. He also knows that his mom may be reading this and is even more grateful for all the endless love and support. He is happy to be in this production and really hone the true smelliness of his balls.

Jacob Rye - Tiblyn

Jacob Rye is a junior majoring in theater with a performance concentration and a minor in biology. Firebringer is his first musical theater production at the College of Charleston. He was previously involved in Center Stage’s 2022 production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show shadow cast. He would like to thank the cast and crew for the opportunity and for their diligent work.

Kate Yarbray* - Chorn

Kate Yarbray is a sophomore at the College, majoring in theatre with concentrations in both performance and scenic/lighting design and a minor in creative writing. She was most recently seen as Lydia Wickham in the mainstage production of Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley, and she directed Five Women Wearing the Same Dress for Center Stage earlier this semester. This will be her first time performing with Center Stage, and she is thrilled to be a part of this brilliant organization!

Noah Anderson - Grunt

Noah Anderson is a junior double major in history and theater. This is his second Center Stage production.  He was also seen in Center Stage’s Swing of the Sea (Eggs) and Mainstage’s Cabaret (Cliff), Violet (Earl, Bus driver), and Two Gentlemen of Verona (Eglamour).

Skylar Huntley - Ensemble

Skylar Huntley is a senior majoring in Theatre Performance. She was previously seen in the main stage’s production of Violet as Young Violet and Center Stage’s Swing of the Sea as Boots. She is so excited that her last performance at CofC is with Center Stage. This show has such an incredible message and she is so proud to be a part of sharing it with audiences.

Isabella Gardner - Ensemble/Puppeteer

Isabella Gardner is a sophomore double majoring in Theatre (General) and Arts Management. She has spent plenty of time in the chapel theatre this semester, appearing in The Two Gentlemen of Verona as Speed in March. For her first Center Stage show, she is proud to work with such a diligent team to uphold values like sustainability and queer representation.

Eli Salas - Puppeteer

Eli Salas is a junior majoring in Theatre with a concentration in scenic/lighting design. This is his first time working as a puppeteer onstage. He was last seen in Center Stage’s The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) [Revised] as himself.
